What is ‘General’?
Funds received for the ‘General’ portion of the budget are used for expenses of the church building, staff and the ministries St. John provides.
What is ‘Benevolence’?
Funds received for the ‘Benevolence’ portion of the budget are shared with other programs in the community, the Western ND Synod, and the ELCA.
May I pay my pledge with an automatic withdrawal?
Yes! Simply Giving is a program which enables you to have your contributions automatically withdrawn from your bank account. For details, please contact the church office at 225-6747 or download the form from the website at www.stjohnelc.org.
Will I receive a statement of my giving?
Yes! If you pledge or have offering envelopes, you will receive a quarterly statement of your contributions for your tax records and to confirm the accuracy of our records.
