Parents Educating and Affirming Kids
PEAK CLASS DATES~
Kindergarten: September 21 & 28
1st & 2nd Grades: October 12 & 19
PEAK is a program designed for our younger students and parents to share in their faith together while discussing and learning about some of the “basics” and how they affect their lives:

Kindergartners meet to learn about prayer & make prayer boxes

1st Graders meet to talk about rules & the Ten Commandments while completing a “stone” craft

2nd Graders meet to talk about “What’s Fair” and “Forgiveness” in how we treat one another and complete a “Created in His Image” mirror.
These classes involve “hands-on” activities along with instruction, and require adult assistance to complete projects and questions. A parent or other “significant” adult must accompany the student to these classes.
EARLY CONFIRMATION - 2008-2009
Our Early Confirmation program encompasses children in the 3-6th grade and is intended to prepare students for the Junior High program. Classes are held during the Sunday school hour (Sundays at 9:15am) during scheduled months~

November: 3rd grade - Old and New Testaments (Students receive Bibles)

January: 4th grade - Baptism (Students make Remembrance Boxes)

February: 5th grade - Sacraments (Students decorate a paten & chalice)

March: 6th grade - Martin Luther (Students make time capsules)
These classes involve “hands-on” activities along with instruction, and require adult assistance to complete projects and questions. A parent or other “significant” adult must accompany the student to these classes.
