Members of Another Lutheran Church
New members from a Lutheran background are invited to join St. John through a two step process.
The first step is to attend the New Member Luncheon and Information Session at which you will meet the staff and clergy of St. John, learn about our faith and history and make friends with other families also joining. It is a chance for us to share information with you about our congregation, it's ministry and a chance for you to ask any questions you might have about the church. A casual comfortable meal will be served with time for conversation and a special service project.
The second step is “New Member Sunday” in which new members are welcomed to the family of St. John at the 10:30 worship service and introduced to their sponsor. |
