Senior High Mission Trip
There are a number of ways you can be involved with the Senior High Mission Trip to Belize in July! Our final fundraising blitz will be raising the $9,000 still needed for the trip.
Supper/Silent Auction: Let us cook for you. We will have a supper at the Eagles Club (31 1st Ave. E.) on Tuesday, July 8, from 5 to 8:00 p.m. with a silent auction. The menu will feature spaghetti with marinara and alfredo sauce, garlic toast and salad. Cost is $8 per person and children 6 and under are free. Along with this will be a silent auction with a number of items ranging from hand-made pieces to baskets full of summer fun. If you would like to donate an auction item, contact the church office at 225-6747. A list of these items will be available closer to the date.
Stocks: You can by stock in our youth (and the future of the church) for only $50 per stock. With your purchase you will get a pre and post trip newsletter giving you a behind-the-scenes look at this mission trip and what it means for the youth and adults who are participating. There are pictures and articles from the mission trippers themselves! Stocks will be sold after church services from June 22 to July 6.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP
We're commissioning 23 high school youth and 6 adults to represent our congregation on a mission trip to assist the poor of Belize in late July. The group is busy preparing with Bible studies, service projects, and fund raising. They need to raise another $10,000, so if you would like to contribute to the trip, checks can be made out to St. John Lutheran Church with "Mission Trip" in the memo line.
