Fall Confirmation classes will be held during the school year. Students who did not attend the summer classes, need to attend the fall classes. The following classes will meet on Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:00pm.

Old Testament - Section 1: September 10, 17, 24, & October 1
Old Testament - Section 2: October 15, 29, November 5 & 12
New Testament - Section 1: January 14, 21, 28, & February 4
New Testament - Section 2: February 18, March 4, 11, & 18

OTHER THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

MENTOR GROUPS - All confirmation students will be assigned to a mentor group next fall.  Attendance at mentor group meetings is required during the school year.

WORSHIP NOTES - As part of confirmation, students are expected to worship regularly.  To assist in their understanding of our worship life, we require that worship notes be turned in anytime a student worships between June 1, 2008 and May 1, 2009.  The notes are intended to focus the attention of each student on various aspects of worship life and need to be signed by a parent.  The parent should also help the student understand the questions on the worship note form and discuss the written responses.  Forms are available on the bulletin board in the Commons Area.

**Students attending confirmation classes at St. John Lutheran Church must have a parent or a designated adult sponsor who is a member of St. John Lutheran Church.  If a confirmation student is not baptized, a parent should contact a pastor about baptism.

**Students who attended Early Confirmation - Participation in the Early Confirmation program has prepared students for Junior High Confirmation; it does not exempt them from completing the Junior High program.
