WELCOME TO WORSHIP: All the baptized are invited to the Lord’s Table. You may stand or kneel to receive the elements. Children who do not yet commune should have hands folded to receive a blessing from the pastors. Ask a pastor during distribution for a gluten-free wafer if needed, and ask the wine-servers if you need white grape juice instead of wine.
CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP is Sunday, April 6 at 10:30 a.m.
BIBLE CAMP MOVE: Badlands Ministries is seeking help in moving out of the Retreat Center on this afternoon. A worship service will “decommission” the Retreat Center at 5:30 p.m. and a supper will follow. (See the blue information sheets on tables at the doors)
NEW HYMN: Today we’ll begin learning hymn #665, Rise, Shine, You People! The words were written by Lutheran Ronald Klug, a freelance writer and editor living near Amery, Wisconsin. The music was composed by Dale Wood, and organist and choir director in California before his death. His sparkling, exuberant, and style caused many to refer to him as “Mr. Joy.”
HOW DID WE GET THE BIBLE? Learn more about the origins of the Bible in Pastor’s Tangen’s 9:15 a.m. adult class beginning Sunday, March 30. The class will last for five weeks.
FAMILY SUNDAY SCHOOL: Families are invited to Family Sunday School in the basement next Sunday, April 6 at 9:15. There will be activities, crafts, and time for families to journal together.
WORSHIP INFORMATION: Attendance last week was 1,574 . . . Transmitters are available for the hearing impaired. Ask an usher for help . . . If it is uncomfortable for you to stand during the service, please feel free to remain seated . . . The nursery, located in the Commons Area, is staffed Sundays from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. for infants and children up to age four . . . Children’s bags are available during worship in the Commons Area and in the church entry . . .
EASTER LILIES: On the tables at the church doors, you can find the list of those in whose honor or memory contributions were made to the Easter Lily Memorial Fund. Some of the contributions were used to purchase Easter lilies. The balance was given to the St. John’s Women of the ELCA for their summer triennial convention in Salt Lake City. Thank you for your generosity
HEALTHY LIVES: All women are invited to a program on Monday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Room. Speakers are Julie Johnson and Dolores Roy from the Pathways to Healthy Lives program. They will present ideas and tips for better women’s health through nutrition and exercise.

RAISING FUNDS FOR A NEW GARAGE: This spring we are going to construct a new garage and shop to replace the existing garage. To fund the $20,000 project, we already have $12,000 in a dedicated account for capital improvements to the church property. Our goal is to raise another $8,000 by April 30, and to date we have received $6,750. Thank you for your generosity!
NEED A GARAGE? We are accepting bids for the purchase and removal of the garage located south of the church on the alley. Bids must be received in the church office by Monday, March 31 and the garage moved by April 15.
