 Welcome- Pastor Ted Johanson
Interim Senior Pastor
Ted Johanson grew up in Brooklyn Center/Robbinsdale, Minnesota. He graduated from BemidjiState with an Instrumental Music Education Degree. While serving as Parish Education Director for FoxPointLutheranChurch in Milwaukee, Wisconsin he perceived his call to ordained ministry. After seminary, he served in four regular parish calls before receiving interim ministry training in 1995. He entered the unique ministry as Intentional Interim Pastor of GraceLutheranChurch, Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Since then he has served fifteen congregations in Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, and North Dakota as Intentional Interim Pastor. Pastor Ted joined the senior high youth mission trip in Birmingham, Alabama, on July 25. His first day as a worship leader will be August 1.

Heavenly Harp Concert
On Monday, July 26, 7:00 p.m. Karin and Joy Gunderson, a mother-daughter musical duo known as Heavenly Harp, will give a free concert at St. John. Karin will relate inspiring stories from her work as a harpist for hospice. The Gunderson’s also will play harp duets, sing together and add occasional flute accompaniment. There is no admission charge; offerings are accepted. Please contact Cheryl Hewson if you would like to provide housing for the Gunderson’s.
