Cost is $15 per person
This years theme is ‘Splash in God’s Word’ and preschoolers will learn three stories, using VBS material from Spark!

For Kindergarten- 6th Grade Camp begins Sun. Aug. 5 at 2:30 p.m.
The week continues
Mon-Thurs. Aug 6-9 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Cost is $30 per student
The day camp theme is "Spiritlife".
The maximum cost for any family is $60.

The deadline to register is Sun., July 8.
Summer Confirmation Classes Offered
Summer confirmation instruction will be offered for students from St. JohnLutheranChurch who are entering the 7th and 8th grades. The following classes meet Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the following dates:
June 20 & 21: Old Testament - section 1
June 27 & 28: Old Testament - section 2
July 18 & 19: New Testament - section 1
July 25 & 26: New Testament - section 2
Confirmation is open to St. John members.
Church membership information is available.
Orientation will be held Wednesday, May 16 at 6:30 p.m.
for 8th graders and 7:00 p.m. for 7th graders.
Registration cost: $20 per student.

Summer Worship Time Change
Sunday, May 27 marks the date
when the summer worship schedule begins. Sunday worship on May 27 will be at 8:00 and 9:30 a.m.
Thursday night worship is at 7:00 p.m. The church office will be closed on Memorial Day (Monday, May 28).

Church School Director
This position assists the pastor with the coordination of ChurchSchool (preparing classrooms, purchasing materials and coordinating volunteer teachers), VacationBibleSchool (selecting curriculum, purchasing supplies, and coordinating camp) and day camp. This position works 10 hours per week for 10 months a year.
Administrative Secretary
This position carries out secretarial and receptionist duties for the staff and congregation. Duties include welcoming visitors, answering phones, ordering supplies, preparing for worship and assisting with special services. This position requires strong computer skills (Word, Excel and Wordperfect) and works 21 hours per week.
