Yoga Classes Begin

January yoga will be Saturday, Feb. 6 and 20 featuring two different classes. A traditional, mat-based yoga class will be held from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Attendees should bring a heavy towel or yoga mat. A class for seniors/special populations (those who are pregnant, struggling with the discomfort of excess weight and those with physical disabilities or limitations) is offered from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.  This class is completed while seated in a chair with a few standing positions using the chair as support.  This class is also beneficial to those who work ‘desk jobs’ and are looking for simple stretches and exercises that can be done to reduce tension throughout their workday.

Though classes are free, we will accept free-will donations to help St. John’s Gifts of Light fund that goes to people in need.  A sign-up sheet is available on the bulletin board in the Commons Area, or contact Marya at 870-0619 or via email at marya@ndsupernet.com to sign-up or if you have additional questions.

Book Exchange Begins

Beginning February in the Commons Area, you will have the opportunity to bring books that you would like to donate for others to read.  The books will be on the book shelves for anyone to take, read and then return when you are finished.  There will be NO check out system - just return the book when you are finished.

We are looking for most types of books such as non-fiction, Christian fiction, self-help, etc.  Please do not bring books of questionable content such as romance novels, etc.

If you have any questions, please contact Jodeen Myers at 225-6747.

Thank you for visiting our web site where you'll find many opportunities to "live in service to Christ." Please contact our staff with any questions you may have.
