Lifetouch Church Directories will be producing a new photo directory for us in 2008. A free 8x10 portrait and a copy of the new directory will be given to every family or individual whose picture is taken.

Plan now to have your picture taken during one of these photo sessions:

HELP WANTED

We are seeking applicants for the position of Children’s Choir Director. There are job applications for this paid position, and copies of the job description in the church office for anyone interested in the position. The time requirement for the paid position includes Wednesday evenings and two Sunday mornings each month during the school year.

Volunteers Needed (VBS)

Are you an adult who wants to join in the fun? We need LOTS of volunteers to make summer VBS a success. SUMMER CONFIRMATION ORIENTATION

Orientation for the Confirmation Program for the 2008-2009 school year will be Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 p.m. Students who will be in 7th & 8th grade next fall and parents are expected to attend this orientation.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP

We're commissioning 23 high school youth and 6 adults to represent our congregation on a mission trip to assist the poor of Belize in late July. The group is busy preparing with Bible studies, service projects, and fund raising. They need to raise another $10,000, so if you would like to contribute to the trip, checks can be made out to St. John Lutheran Church with "Mission Trip" in the memo line.
